Shipping and Payment

When will my order ship?

We process all orders Monday through Friday. Our goal is to have your order passed into the hands of the shipper within 48 hours of when it is processed, and 24 hours after beans have been roasted.

My order has no tracking updates. Is it lost?

Most likely, it’s still on its way.

In our experience, when there are no tracking updates, it means the shipper has yet to scan or forgot to scan your product, but it’s still on its way. We’ve even seen orders show no tracking updates right up until the date of delivery, so don’t worry if you still don’t see one a few days after ordering.

Our standard shipping estimate is approximately 1-6 business days for U.S. addresses, so if you haven’t seen any tracking movement within 5 business days after your order has shipped, please let us know so we can help.

My order was marked as delivered even though it did not arrive. Why?

Sometimes there are mix-ups with courier companies and packages arrive shortly after it is indicated they were delivered.

If you don’t see your order 24 hours after it was marked as delivered, please reach out to us at info@4coffroastingcompany.com so we can assist.

Why did my order ship in separate boxes?

Items in your order may ship separately depending on what was ordered. For example, because not all of our coffees roast and ship on the same day (the day a coffee will roast and ship should be listed on a coffee’s individual page), the items on some orders will roast, and so ship, on multiple days.

Additionally, some of our merchandise items ship out of a separate warehouse from our coffee.

How long does shipping take?

If you live in Canada and place an order before 3:00pm EST, it will be ready for shipping the next business day. Orders from the U.S. will be ready within two business days. The shipping time varies depending on the region:

  • Ontario and Quebec: 2 days
  • Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island: 3 days
  • British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Newfoundland: 4 days
  • Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut: 5 or more days
  • Remote addresses and PO Boxes may require an additional 1-2 business days for delivery through Canada Post.
  • Metropolitan U.S. areas: 2 days
  • Rural U.S. areas: 4 days

How long will courier delivery take?

Couriers will deliver within two business days after picking up the order from the roastery.

Who are your shipping and courier providers?

We work with Canada Post, FedEx, and DHL (for U.S. shipping only). We automatically select the best provider based on the address you provide at checkout. In certain circumstances, Canada Post may handle deliveries, regardless of the selected method. This is applicable to PO boxes, rural addresses, and unique situations.

What is the cost of shipping?

We offer free shipping across Canada on orders over $75 CAD. Shipping to the U.S. has a base fee of $20 CAD, and the total cost is determined by the weight. We also offer FedEx air service for faster delivery in specific regions for an additional $6 fee.

Can I order online and pick it up in person?

Yes, if you are in the Windsor Essex region, you can arrange delivery or pickup by emailing us at info@4coffroastingcompany.com.

My tracking number isn’t working?

Tracking numbers may take up to 48 hours to update. If you continue experiencing issues after that time, it’s best to contact the shipping provider directly. While we can assist in locating your order, contacting the shipping provider usually provides the fastest updates once the package has left our roastery.

My order is delayed?

During periods of unusually high online order volumes, there may be a delay in preparing your shipment. After a sale, expect a delay of 3-6 days before your order is packed and ready to ship. If your order is delayed while in transit, please contact your shipping provider for more tracking information.

We offer 400g bags.

Frequency of Shipments:

We offer order processing cadences of every one, two, three, or four weeks. Once orders are processed, they are queued for roasting. We aim to ship out within 48 hours of roasting and our shipping partners estimate a 5-7 day shipping timeline.

My order arrived faulty or broken. What should I do?

If your order includes faulty merchandise, accessories, or brewing equipment, we can exchange them within 30 days of the receipt date for cafe purchases or the delivery date for online purchases. Please send us an email with detailed information to arrange a replacement order.
